Team Strategies in Education

(A “Strategies in Education” Workshop)

Good teachers don’t have all the answers, they just know who to ask for help. To meet the challenges they face today, educators must draw on the strengths of everyone involved in teaching young people. Educators need fresh ideas in addressing the personal and learning needs of students. They need support in communicating with parents, administrators and school boards. They need insight into resolving issues with colleagues. Most of all, they need team members that know how to innovate, cooperate and get results in record time, often with reduced budgets.

NorQuest Learning System’s Team Strategies in Education workshop brings education professionals a simple approach to building successful teams. From team-teaching and curriculum development to developing site-based management, and business and community alliances, discover how to use Team Dimensions® to:

Identify how educators approach teamwork
Clarify individual strengths and roles on a team
Build well-balanced teams whose members value the contributions of each other
Increase productive communication
Reduce conflict and stress
Enhance motivation and self-esteem
Discover an efficient and creative team process that can be used in a wide variety of situations
Discover the Right Role for the Right People on Your Team

Successful team members don’t do the same thing at the same time. They do the right thing at the right time. In this workshop we will use the Team Dimensions Profile® to help people work from their strength by identifying their most natural and comfortable team role.

Then Do the Right Thing at the Right Time for Team Results

In this workshop we also show how the teamwork process is mapped in the shape of a Z, as people first define roles and tasks, do their part, then “hand-off” to other team members. In this relay process, tasks are passed from Creators to Advancers, from Advancers to Refiners, and from Refiners to Executors. Facilitators make sure the tasks are handed off at the right time, and keep the process moving.

We’ve Got Answers to Your Team Questions!

Our Team Strategies in Education workshop can help you begin at the beginning and end with success in meeting today’s education challenges, together.
